We are holding our Sunday morning worship services live now at 11 am Sunday at Hillside United Methodist Church. Please join us! We do require wearing facemasks for the in-church worship and while you are in the church building. If you would prefer to worship online due to the pandemic, you can access 10 am services from Coppertop found below or on Hillside’s Face-book page.
Our worship services include music, prayer, scripture, communion, children's message, and sermon. Check it out!
Hillside UMC is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory.
Church Wide Mission projects. Carrying on the tradition that Don Olson started, once again, we will be collecting new or gently used warm hats and mittens for adults and children. These will be given to the Union Gospel Mission who will then distribute them to those in need.
A message from our Pastor
Hillside is a church family. This has been so evident recently in all our services, activities, and fellowship we’ve shared. We take care of each other when a loved one dies or someone has surgery and needs a little help. We have a visiting team that visits our homebound members. We send cards and call each other just to check in. We serve our community together as well! National Night Out, meatball dinner, plant sale, apple pies, donations to CHUM and Myers-Wilkens, and meals to Loaves and Fishes are just to name a few!
Our worship on Sunday mornings have been uplifting and rich as we connect with God, each other, and our inner selves more deeply.
Families are committed to each other. So our church family can continue this journey together, we need to make commitments to share our faith with others, to pray for God’s spirit to inspire us and guide us, to serve others and each other, and to give and use our resources to expand God’s mission through our church. -Pastor Cynthia
